This is the first demonstration disc for the MCA DiscoVision system. It begins with a quick overview of how the
technology works, which runs only for a couple of minutes. This is followed by is a series of clips including some
scenic mountain vistas to stereo music, children playing on a playground and a pair of hands tying knots and displaying
Three Card Monty. The "hands" section is recorded in English and Spanish. Next is a series of
still art images and some type written pages about the DiscoVision system in various scripts. We then proceed
through a walkthrough of the manufacturing facility where the discs are actually recorded and replicated. Is it any
wonder why DiscoVision looks like it does? The only protective clothing worn by the technicians are rubber surgical
gloves. The discs ends off with a section of a Columbo episode - the same clip which is at the end of the
Consumer Demonstration Disc released later in 1978. As with the later release, this one is
also in English and Japanese. None of the material displayed on the disc was ever issued in any other form.
