Pressing Notes

Outside the single sided test pressings done in 1977, Sweet Charity never made its appearance on DiscoVision. However, sides 1 and 5 have been located as part of a test production run, but not as dead sides. The side 5 located does not include the closing credits, so the film would have spanned 6 sides. The single sided test pressings in 1977 (Pressing ID: 0914) included the complete film, and was on only 5 sides. Interestingly enough, Sweet Charity was featured on MCA DiscoVision's Consumer Demonstration Disc.

Release History

Sweet Charity was finally released in November 1987 by MCA/Universal Home Video as a 3 sided CLV/CAV disc (Catalog #: 17003).
