Synopsis:
Darcy (Bob Hoskins) wants an end to the 24-hour-seven-days-a-week hopelessness that is destroying his small town. Determined to give local teenagers a fighting chance, he organizes the 101 Boxing Club. Soon, two rival gangs start meeting to rumble in the ring instead of the streets. As Darcy slowly gains their trust, he breaks down each fighter's defenses while building their pride and self-respect. After a brutal training camp and the ultimate road trip celebration, the boys return home united. But amidst the triumph of the biggest tournament of their lives, tragedy strikes. The hard lesson learned is that anything is possible, but only if you believe in yourself.
