Synopsis: Jordan Cooper (Tim Matheson) has the world at his fingertips: he is a popular university professor, a successful novelist and is engaged to an attractive scholar. After a brief dispute with a stranger in a restaurant, Jordan's life takes a bizarre turn. Jordan's routine physical exam turns into a nightmare when his medical records are mysteriously altered to list a history of serious ailments, and he is unwillingly admitted to the mental ward as a schizophrenic indigent. After his escape from the mental ward, he recognizes a man called Hollis Dietz (Dean Stockwell) and suspects him to be the man behind his recent medical misfortunes. Jordan discovers that Dietz is using computer technology to harass him and those he loves. With no other recourse than to become a fugitive, Jordan leads police on a cross-country chase as he attempts to find the "Twilight Man" and clear his name. |
