Synopsis:
A contemporary sneak peek into the lives of 80's youth, Fast Times at Ridgemont High stars Sean Penn, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Judge Reinhold and Phoebe Cates and marks the directorial debut of Amy Heckerling. To capture the true essence of "teenage angst," journalist Cameron Crowe went back to high school incognito and gathered first-hand research upon which a book and the screenplay were based. The result is a memorable film which presents a true-to-life reflection of the wide variety of pressures on young people today, as well as the excitement, hilarity, heartbreak and resilience of youth.
