Synopsis:
George Lucas's happy memories of growing up in the early sixties were the inspiration for
American Graffiti, a vibrant, music-filled look at one night in the life of a group of high
school friends just before they go off to college, jobs or the army.
Richard Dreyfuss, Ronny Howard and Cindy Williams make lasting impressions as three
youths on the threshold of adulthood. The legendary deejay Wolfman Jack plays himself -- the howling
idol of the airwaves, spinning the rock 'n roll hits that give this joyfull film its remarkable authenticity
and texture. |
