After shooting the three 'prequel' films, George Lucas decided to further refine the original Trilogy, to make some fine-tuning adjustments. These adjustments would bring some balance between the six episodes - and in some aspects, to correct what fans felt were glaring character and thematic flaws with what had been done in the 1997 Special Edition. As before, not all the changes are necessarily good. The infamous "Han Shoots First" sequence has been improved, but he still doesn't shoot first. And even with these changes, there still remains some holes - particularly between events in Episode II and IV which remain unresolved. This box set is a deluxe slip case with the three films housed in their own DVD case, and included is a 4th DVD which houses hours of bonus materials.
