Lions of the Serengeti, one of four titles from the Jane Goodall library which was release on DiscoVision, is
mastered from 16mm film. The video transfer is sharp and clean, with minor damage evident on the source material.
The audio transfer is typical of low fidelity 16mm film and is unremarkable. It is a limitation of the source again,
not the transfer of the elements into the video domain. Disc replication, from very early in the DiscoVision pressings
is clean with very little speckling. There are some significant dropouts which can last for several seconds, but this
will vary from disc to disc.
