The transfer for this title is what you would expect from a typically well used 16mm print taken from the high school library. Sharpness and detail are off - everything looks just a bit fuzzy. I can hear someone on the left side of the room yelling "focus"! Audio is typical as well, sounding overdriven and unremarkable.

Shipping records indicate that 34 copies had exited the warehouse by mid 1979. It had been thought this title was never actually released. However, there are a handful of copies known to exist.

Disc labels do not indicate a side number - they simply have the name of the program on that side. The catalog number listed on the label is 64-016A and 64-016B respectively.

At least one copy has the side labels reversed.

Release History

Archeological Dating / The Big Dig has never been re-released on LaserDisc.
