Some copies have been found with additional information at the end of side 1. A player which ignores the "end of side" is required to play this additional program. What has been discovered is SMPTE color bars and 1000hz tone. During the test pattern, the frame counter remains stationary. However, further down the disc, the counter resets, and the DiscoVision bumper begins for...Choosing What To Buy. The first 19,087 frames of the 2^nd program are presented before the program ends. There is no end of side stop, so any player reaching this very end of the disc will play right off the recorded surface and go insane when it looses sync. The complete program is is then presented, on side 2 as expected.
